Our client a leading data centre provider are looking for a facilities technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and communications infrastructure. This expert position emphasises sustaining the facility's efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain chilled water systems, HVAC units, electrical/critical power distribution, and fire life safety systems.
• Manage IFD/MDF/MMR areas, structured cabling, and customer space.
• Optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Mentor junior technicians and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Handle infrastructure projects, troubleshoot issues, and complete work orders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure physical security.

Requirements:

• Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, NEC and NFPA codes, fiber optics/cabling infrastructure, and industrial safety practices.
• Skilled in data trending/analysis and proficient with PC-based monitoring systems.
