Data Engineer , CRATE/TM1, AWS Fintech

AWS Fintech CRATE Team is seeking a Data Engineer to join in a key position supporting the development and maintenance of integrations between TM1 / Planning Analytics and multiple upstream/downstream systems. Solutions must strike the right balance between precision and speed, providing ever more scalable and granular data models and reporting, without sacrificing accuracy or agility.
The ideal candidate is structured, innovative and enjoys taking on hard, ambiguous problems. You should have deep expertise in creation and management of datasets. You will build data analytical solutions that will address increasingly complex business questions. You will be working with a cross functional team of software engineers, application engineers, data engineers, product managers, and customer service teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell)
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or equivalent
- Corporate finance experience exhibiting knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting functions and processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
- Experience with any ETL tool like, Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL, Linux, Oracle and OLAP
- Working experience with TM1Py, REST API

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
