A client of Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to sit in a Hybrid role in Greenwood Village CO. This individual will work to help the companies partner teams ingest data faster into their data lakes while maintaining Data Governance and Compliance standards, find ways to make their data products more efficient, or innovate ideas to help build self-serve data engineering within the company. Build micro-services, architecting, designing, and promoting self-serve capabilities at scale to help them grow.

Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support data engineering solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
- Lead the design and implementation of complex ETL processes.
- Oversee data architecture and ensure scalability and performance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement advanced analytics solutions.

Pay Rate: $60-$78/hr

Required Skills & Experience

o Python and Pyspark expertise SHOULD be on resume.

o Experience: Machine learning models. Please do not send over anyone who does not have experience with this.

o Understands the concept of Lakehouse or Datalake please do not send anyone over without this.

o Has worked with API data consumption.

o Has knowledge of data governance tools (ex: data lineage, metadata tagging, metadata catalog)

o Experience with Terraform REQUIRED

o Bachelors Degree

* 6 months to start but is expected to extend to a year

* Hybrid flex in Greenwood Village, CO - no set days but would need to be onsite when needed.

* The goal is Contract to Hire for the right fit.
