Description and Requirements

Lenovo US Fulfillment center in Whitsett, NC (near Burlington, NC) is looking for Data Engineer to support site wide data analysis from various internal Lenovo data sources, to create insights and dashboards from the raw data and to provide reports to the internal stakeholders at site and within Lenovo. It is 5 days on site, first shift position with expectation of working during the weekends and holidays occasionally. No hybrid or remote option available.

Successful Candidate will:

• Work within the SAP system, LUDP, SQL Databases to pull in required data for analysis and reporting for production needs as well addressing any escalations.
• Leads or supports project work related to building site wide dashboards, automation and/or reports to show the insights from raw data analysis.
• Prepares and attends mandatory site wide meetings.
• Prepares Bi-Weekly Executive Business Review charts.
• Automate reporting for Fulfillment and Services teams from existing database and internal sources.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing across systems being deployed that the team use to ensure any new design/functionality deployments meet our requirements.
• Able to back up site Data Engineers and be mentor to junior data engineers.
• Able to perform database management and security checks.
• Understand industry wide data security standards and adhere to all data security standards of Lenovo.
• Have continues improvement mindset and customer centric approaches.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or data science.
• 5+ years of experience working as Data Engineer or Data Analysis.
• Professional Certifications from Google or IBM preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP and ERP systems.
• MS Office - pivot tables/macros/clear and effective presentations.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Data visualization and dashboarding tools (SQL, Qliksense, power BI, experience a plus).

• Must be highly self-motivated and results driven professional.
