A Fortune 100 client's Aviation Analytics-focused program is currently looking for Advanced Information Technologist Data Engineer to join their growing Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team! This team is tasked with transforming the way data is sourced, managed, and utilized to unlock insights to drive business growth and optimization. The team supports data needs for internal stakeholders, across the organizations' business programs and functions, and is tasked with utilizing data to inform and improve the full lifecycle of their products.
As a Advanced Information Technologist Data Engineer, you will be a thought leader in how to design, implement, manage, and scale data pipelines in support of the BDS Data Analytics Platform leveraging modern cloud architecture design, hybrid cloud technologies, data migration technologies, and others. You will be responsible for crafting data pipelines, and deploying them in a cloud infrastructure.
This role requires a resourceful, self-driven, outcome-oriented individual with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to partner, execute, and communicate skillfully, while solving complex problems in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with large scale data platforms, cloud computing, hybrid clouds, software development, and requirements management.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience working in data engineering, building pipelines and ETL processes/tools
Hands-on experience with AWS Glue
3+ years of experience with Spark, Kafka or other big data processing frameworks
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
Proficiency in Python and SQL (MySQL, PostgresSQL)
Bachelor's Degree required
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Informatica, Talend or Apache NiFi
Prior experience with AWS GovCloud, Data Catalogue or AWS RedShift
Proficiency in Java or Scala
Experience in the aviation industry or other regulated industries
