An Insight Global client is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. This individual will be tasked with the development and maintenance of architecture for advanced supply chain analytics. This role involves designing, creating, managing, and utilizing large datasets across various data platforms. The engineer will craft, implement, and operate stable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions to transfer data from production systems into the business intelligence data store. Other responsibilities include:
* Work with multiple groups to create ETL solutions (Extract, Transform Solutions)
* Design low latency data architectures
* Improve data security and quality
* Ensure integrity of batch and real-time data pipelines

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelors degree in computer science
* 6-8 years of data engineering experience
* Writing SQL and schema buildout, including star schemas, constellations, and snowflake schemas
* Experience with ETL tool, such as SSIS
* Big data technologies like: Spark, Kafka, Hadoop
* Strong CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
* Strong Python experience, approximately 5-6 years
* Previous experience with Redshift
* Working with AWS Glue
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Masters degree or PhD
