We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to\u00A0enter\u00A0information into our\u00A0customer response management\u00A0software\u00A0from paper documents\u00A0as well as online submissions.\u00A0The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast\u00A0typist with a keen eye for detail.\u00A0\u00A0

The successful candidate will\u00A0combine speed with detail and accuracy in data entry of customer information.\u00A0Draw on their ability to multi-task, self-prioritize\u00A0daily tasks\u00A0and be able to\u00A0adapt to change quickly while\u00A0balancing\u00A0time sensitive tasks against\u00A0assisting the CX team during high volume periods.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0
Excellent oral and written communication skills to report findings in a clear, structured\u00A0manner are also required.\u00A0 \u00A0

MUST HAVE:\u00A0
- 1-3 years of experience as a Data Entry Clerk\u00A0
- Candidate must have attention to detail as well as accuracy. They will be inputting contact information for customers, as well as working on the warranty side. If a customer receives a broken part that is under warranty, this individual will notate what is wrong with the product.\u00A0
- Knowledge of foreign zip codes is a PLUS.\u00A0

Duration: 5-6 months with potential to extend
Location:\u00A0Kryptonite\u00A0 437 Turnpike Street\u00A0 Canton, MA 02021: Candidate does need to be local as this role is on a hybrid schedule (3-4 days per week in office) depending on candidate's performance.\u00A0

Duties and Responsibilities:\u00A0
- Support the processing and fulfillment of key orders by cutting keys, packaging and shipping\u00A0
- \u00A0Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using a standard keyboard\u00A0
- Type in data provided directly from customers\u00A0
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents\u00A0
- Update existing data\u00A0
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested\u00A0
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost\u00A0
- sorting orders - sort printed key orders by their prefix
- pulling keys - scan inventory to see if we have pre-cut keys in stock (standing, bending down)
- cutting various styles of keys - for keys not in stock, cut keys on 1 of 3 different key machine - load key blank into the key machine, enter key cutting code on the computer, the machine does the work
- packaging - place keys in padded envelope, insert packing slip, seal
- shipping key orders - run orders through Neopost machine, print international labels
This role could also include tasks such as:\u00A0
- Communicate with consumers via phone regarding product inquiries and technical questions with a daily phone shift.\u00A0
- Resolve Zen tickets generated from customer support needs.\u00A0
\u00A0Qualifications:\u00A0 \u00A0
- Proven experience as data entry clerk\u00A0
- 2-3 years of experience\u00A0
- Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred\u00A0
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)\u00A0
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices\u00A0
- Basic understanding of customer relationship management software\u00A0
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills\u00A0
- Great attention to detail\u00A0
- High school degree or equivalent\u00A0
- Ability to work and produce required results without close supervision.\u00A0
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.\u00A0
- Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude, ability to work well with a team of professionals.\u00A0
- Ability to work capably under stress and to juggle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.\u00A0
