An Addison Group client is looking for a Data Entry clerk to join their team for a temporary time. This role is completely on-site.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Convert data from paper documents into digital files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Enter data provided directly by customers.
  • Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing with source documents.
  • Update and maintain existing data.
  • Retrieve data from databases or electronic files as needed for online application submissions.
  • Conduct regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Organize and sort paperwork after data entry to prevent loss.
  • Collect necessary information and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare loan applications promptly to enable timely disclosure by the team.
  • Order additional services as required.
  • Prepare files for submission to the underwriter.
  • Prepare loan documents and coordinate the closing process.
  • Adhere to critical loan deadlines.
  • Identify deficiencies and alert the customer, loan officer, and referral source to any significant issues.
  • Assist other department members as needed to support team success.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School Education required, College Degree preferred
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of basic computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Office)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to multi-task in a high-paced, demanding office setting
  • Professional demeanor and conduct
  • Capability to work independently and solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
