About our Team

The Government Services department focuses on the provision of asset verification for federal, state and county agencies who determine eligibility for publicly funded programs. Independence and collaboration go hand to hand in our team culture. We encourage our team members to take ownership of their work while fostering a supportive environment where collaboration flourishes. This is a fully onsite role in our Evanston, IL office. Working hours are 8:30AM - 5:00 PM. (May occasionally have to work other shift times to assist in coverage for other team members who are on PTO.) Must be able to obtain SSA Security Clearance as a condition of employment/continued employment.

About the Job

As a Data Entry Specialist, your purpose is to oversee the accuracy and completeness of data input and output. You will be responsible for ensuring that all data is recorded and processed in a timely and efficient manner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Meeting productivity and quality requirements entering financial and account balance data provided by financial institutions.


  • Maintaining required records in the completion of data entry tasks and conducting quality control work.


  • Sorting incoming mail and operating an envelope inserter for daily mail and other mail equipment. Picking up mail from the Post Office down the street and returning back to the office for processing as needed.


  • Following up with financial institutions on requests with missing account information (bad requests) to obtain the correct information.
  • Meeting all deadlines including processing data within the same day of receipt. There are strict service level agreements that must be met on a daily basis.


  • Performing all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Have high school diploma at minimum.


  • Have Microsoft Suite skills.


  • Have thorough attention to detail and a commitment to the highest quality of performance. Able to multi-task.


  • Have self-motivated and reliable work ethic, and proficient at working independently as well as in a team.


  • Have ability to adapt and adjust to new situations or demands. Must be able to function effectively with a minimum of confusion or loss of productivity.


  • Have ability to work some company holidays with compensation (day after Independence Day, day after Thanksgiving, etc.) and occasional overtime.
