A fortune 100 client is looking to add a Data Steward Advisor to their team. This group is focused on 1st party data from SAP and as a data steward, you will work with multiple team members and levels of leadership to establish a data catalogue for the enterprise for data assets on in the APAC and AMESA (Africa, Middle East and South Asia) regions as well as embed data governance disciplines around data quality and data ownership. Typically, Data Stewards are expected to engage with business and technical subject matter experts to curate metadata and define data quality rules for the data catalogue.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management or Data Stewardship experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company or similar industry
- General understanding of data governance concepts and processes
- Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship
- Intermediate SQL knowledge and experience (ability to write SQL queries)
- Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules
- Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel
- Experience researching, validating, profiling and cataloging datasets
- Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- SAP domain experience: FICO, Material Management, Supply Chain
- Experience with EDF, Axon, Collibra
