The Product and Sales Activation (PSA) team is responsible for performance and brand solutions for small and medium business (SMB) advertisers around the world from large mid-market companies to local shops served by the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Business. We are the product and business experts behind GCS Googlers that are responsible for driving sustainable business growth and product adoption. We identify opportunities through analysis, build consensus with stakeholders, and program manage cross-functional teams to drive GCS advertiser success and business growth.
In this role, you will build and maintain the core data infrastructure that supports our sales and partner teams' operations and enables those teams to execute on our product objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive aspects of data infrastructure, and solution design and development (e.g., requirements gathering, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance) You will be an individual contributor, demonstrating working knowledge of core data and product knowledge. You will translate business requirements/needs into technical data solutions. You will also engage in community contributions, to improve and sustain our culture and operations - making Google a better place to work.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in data engineering.
- Experience with analyzing data, database query (e.g. SQL), and creating dashboards/reports
- Experience with design data pipelines and model data, for synch and asynch system integration, and implementation
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree with a quantitative focus or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge with Google Ads products.
- Knowledge of Data Visualization and dashboard tool - PLX, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities
- Operate a robust, stable infrastructure, working closely with Engineering teams and partners to continuously drive process improvements across various cross-functional partners
- Develop and maintain data models, pipelines, and SQL scripts to assist in the visualization, analysis, interpretation of data
- Perform data analysis and profiling using relevant tools, leveraging the data infrastructure, and existing data models with minimal guidance.
- Work with clients to identify their needs and clarify requirements and enable data-driven decision-making by collecting, transforming, and publishing data
- Follow and improve upon the technical practices, including making data discoverable, thinking about the lifecycle of data, and managing master data well
