Role : Data Management Analyst
Location : 100% Remote (Must be local to Charlotte NC or Saint Louis MO
Term : 12 Month Contract to Hire
Compensation : Negotiable - Must be able to work W2 (Cannot work Corp to Corp or 1099)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Management Analyst with a strong background in Power BI, Power Automate, and semantic modeling. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in leveraging these tools to create robust data models, automate workflows, and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Implement complex DAX measures and calculations to provide insightful analytics.
• Create and manage data models, including data transformation, data loading, and relationship management.

Power Automate :

• Develop and manage automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
• Integrate various applications and services to enhance data flow and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automated processes to ensure seamless operations.

Semantic Modeling :

• Design and implement semantic models that provide a business-friendly layer over complex data sets.
• Create hierarchies, calculated columns, and measures that support business reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.

Data Management :

• Oversee data quality, integrity, and consistency across different data sources and systems.
• Develop and enforce data management policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular data audits and implement improvements to enhance data governance.

Collaboration and Support :

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and Power Automate functionalities.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data integration and system interoperability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Power BI, Power Automate, and semantic modeling.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and M (Power Query) languages.
• Experience with data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes.
• Understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of other automation tools like Zapier, Integromat, or similar.
• Certifications in Power BI or related Microsoft technologies.
