SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Acquiring, validating, storing, protecting, and processing required data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for its users. Develop data reports and programs using various data software and methods, including SAS, SQL, Power BI, Redcap, and Excel.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Data entry
Performs data entry and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness and legibility of data. Assists with the development and evaluation of forms. Enter process and data into various databases. Maintain internal record keeping system(s) Maintains master files.
Quality assurance
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of data manually entered by others. Maintains and audits data, providing status and activity reports as required. Maintains and revises lists, control records, and coding schemes necessary to process source data. Maintains master files.
Reporting
Prepare reports for internal validation and cross validation. May evaluate and resolve issues regarding contents of reports.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
- Experience with SAS, SQL, PowerBI, RedCap and/or Excel strongly preferred
