In this role, you'll be hands-on in the development and implementation of Data Governance initiatives, within Apple's Channel Sales team. You'll be part of the team establishing and implementing Data Governance, to improve decision-making, sales performance, and optimize business planning for the U.S. Channel Sales team. In this role, you will be the prime mover of your products end to end, working on small-to-medium size projects to support a wide variety of sales and operational activities.

You will ensure the effective management and governance of our data assets, driving data scale, quality and compliance across the organization. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize data processes and ensure that our data practices align with industry standards and regulations.

Description
Lead the development and execution of an overall data governance strategy for U.S. Channel Sales
Work with a cross-functional team to implement data governance, including internal IT teams, engineers, data analysts, and business operations.
Data Management: Be the data steward and owner of data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Governance: Implement, document, and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure data practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal privacy and security policies
Optimization: Streamline data processes and workflows for efficiency.
Monitoring: Continually assess data integrity, addressing any issues that arise and using a continuous improvement approach to reduce issues in future. Develop and use KPIs to ensure data quality is measured and managed.
Informing and Aligning: Prepare team and leadership updates on status and success of data initiatives. Ensure data initiatives are prioritized in alignment with the business roadmap for maximum impact.
