Data Science Intern - Summer 2025

As a Data Science Intern, you'll work closely with teams across the company to help solve business issues using technical and communication skills.

About the Role

• Work closely with various teams across the company to identify and solve business challenges
• Develop predictive statistical, behavioral or other models via supervised and unsupervised machine learning
• Conduct statistical analysis and/or build predictive models
• Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
• Analyze and interpret the results of modeling experiments
• Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to develop and support our internal data platform for ongoing analyses

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master's degree or Ph.D. in technical fields such as data science, applied mathematics, statistics or computer science
• Experience of statistical methods generally and particularly in the areas of modeling and business analytics
• Comfort with manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
• Ability to communicate results of analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner
• Proficient knowledge of Python or R
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Python
• Demonstrated work with Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.)
