Position Objective: Seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team with CDC/DMAC (Data Modernization Accelerator at CDC). This role requires experience in Azure OpenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Python, and proficiency in developing applications using Streamlit, LangChain, Databricks, and Python frameworks like Flask and FastAPI. The ideal candidate will be adept at building scalable machine learning models and deploying them to production environments and also being part of customer success teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Being as part of customer success team, assist, develop and collaborate in ML models and algorithms, specifically focusing on integrating Azure OpenAI services and Large Language Models.
• Utilize Databricks for large-scale data processing and model training, ensuring efficient data manipulation and transformation.
• Develop and deploy web applications and APIs using Streamlit, Flask, and FastAPI to enable interactive data visualization and real-time model interaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problem statements, gather requirements, and deliver ML-driven solutions that align with business goals.
• Implement and maintain machine learning solutions within Azure cloud environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Optimize machine learning pipelines for performance and scalability using LangChain for natural language processing tasks.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to validate models against business objectives.
• Document all processes and models in detail to ensure reproducibility and compliance with industry standards .

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and extensive experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Proven experience with Azure and its AI capabilities, including the use of Azure OpenAI and LLMs.
• Experience with Databricks for data engineering and exploratory data analysis.
• Proficient in building and deploying web applications using Streamlit, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Familiarity with the deployment of scalable machine learning models in a production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as .Net , C# , Java
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in applying machine learning techniques to real-world business problems.
