Our client is a well known financial services and payments company client located in New York, City. This role will be working hybrid 2 days per week in their NYC office.

About the Role:

As the Data Scientist in our client's Enterprise Personalization team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their Personalization product. Your expertise in data science and statistical analytics will be crucial in driving product success. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and tech teams to identify opportunities, enhance product levers, and close gaps in existing framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct advanced analytics to support the expansion of Personalization product across various placements and channels.
  • Perform data science research to optimize algorithms and identify key drivers of product performance.
  • Lead analytics initiatives to uncover opportunities for product enhancement and address framework gaps.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive innovative data-driven solutions and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, etc.) with at least 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong quantitative skills with a deep understanding of statistics.
  • Proficiency in analytical languages such as Python or R, and experience with databases like Hive or SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and working in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Excellent relationship-building, management, and influencing skills.

  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to innovate beyond existing tools and solutions.
  • Comfort with working independently and making strategic decisions on projects.
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into mathematical programming problems and engineer effective solutions.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.64 to $45.15 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
