DPBPS is the requirements system by which the NNSA realizes nuclear weapons and manages nuclear weapon programs. The department supports NNSA and M&O Contractors in the development and configuration management of Federal and Inter-Agency requirements content applicable across the NSE.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
  • Provides support regarding the Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) 9.7 application to project teams
  • Supports our team's transition and data migration from DOORS 9.7 to DOORS Next
  • Provides content entry in DOORS for project teams
  • Monitors and maintain integrity of linkages within the database throughout the development phases of programs
  • Generates reports and analysis
  • Coordinates and supports all users of the requirements database
  • Develops and deploys RPE scripts and templates for use with the DOORS requirements database
  • Trains and mentors other team members to interact with the database
  • Troubleshoots DOORS issues
  • Creates required Microsoft Word documents from the DOORS database to support project teams using IBM Rational Publishing Engine (RPE)
  • Develops and implements continuous improvement initiatives for DOORS to support requirements management throughout the organization
  • Works with Manager and Team Leadership to extract stakeholder requirements
  • Manages changes to requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Job is primarily remote/work from home, with scheduled onsite meetings as required
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years of database management, data entry or programming experience
  • The positions require work at government facilities and the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen capable of acquiring a government security clearance (Q).
Desired Qualifications:
  • Fluency in the use of DOORS 9.7 and/or DOORS Next requirements management tool
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in configuration management within DOORS
  • Visual Basic Office Scripting and Word Macros
  • Knowledge and experience of DXL or Javascript programming languages
  • Photo editing software
  • Visio
  • IBM Rational Publishing Engine
  • SharePoint
  • Previous DOE experience
Physical Demands:
  • If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sub-contractor you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
  • If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sub-contractor, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
