JOB SUMMARY: Responsible maintaining the operations of our datacenter, ensuring uptime, and supporting infrastructure to meet the needs of our business. Utilize deep understanding of server, storage, and networking technologies, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for datacenter-related incidents and problems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operations of the datacenter, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Monitor and manage all datacenter systems including servers, storage, networking equipment, and security systems.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including hardware and software upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with other IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and inventory of datacenter assets.
- Manage power and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect datacenter assets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Monitor resource utilization and plan for future capacity needs.
- Optimize datacenter resources to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding datacenter performance and issues.
- Perform additional job related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Computer Science, IT or related field
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in datacenter operations or a similar role.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of server, storage, and networking technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX.
- Understanding of datacenter infrastructure management tools and monitoring systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP are a plus.
