POSITION SUMMARY

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a fellowship trained Breast Imager to fill a full-time onsite daytime position within our practice in Scottsdale, AZ. The new Physician team member will join a robust breast imaging team and have the support of Breast Centers of Excellence.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for interpreting mammograms (including tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, breast MR, and performing all related breast interventional procedures
• 100% Breast Imaging Focus
• No evening or weekend call.
• Partnership track position or Employee Track
• A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills is expected.

Southwest Medical Imaging, Ltd. (SMIL) is a well-established, sub-specialized group of over 50 radiologists. SMIL owns over a dozen outpatient imaging centers throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and we continue to grow.

We provide services at high quality community hospitals in Scottsdale & Phoenix, Arizona, servicing HonorHealth system which includes 6 hospitals - 3 being Level 1 trauma centers, and a busy cancer center.

Our unique SMIL Research Institute is an entity through which we perform phase I through IV clinical research in all subspecialty areas. Interested physicians would have the opportunity to gain research literacy as well as participate in sponsored and academic clinical trials.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines)
