Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives? Join the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD as a Day Habilitation Site Supervisor. Under supervision of the Program Assistant, The Day Habilitation Site Supervisor will provide supervision and oversight of the Day Habilitation Program staff. Provides direct care services for individuals served through the Day Habilitation Program. Ensure that program staff provide Day Habilitation services, complete & submit documentation and provides transportation in accordance with all applicable guidelines, policies and standards. The Day Habilitation Site Supervisor provides coverage as needed for other Day Habilitation Programs, and will have access to Kronos and Performance Pro to assist the Program Assistant by reviewing and approving Day Program staff's bi-weekly time cards, and making notes for annual reviews. Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Role in Action:
  • Ensures the compliance of ICF& TxHmL requirements and all data is completed weekly.
  • Provides and coordinates transportation services as needed.
  • Informs Supervisor of available community resources, along with consumer involvement.
  • Provides and ensures direct care services are provided to consumers as needed.
  • Monitors and verify Day Program staffs by-weekly time cards.
  • Maintains upkeep of the Day Program space to ensure that equipment and furniture, etc. is in good condition. Report problems to Supervisor.
  • Ensures that reports, fire drills, maintenance requests, vehicles inspections, incident reports, etc. are submitted in accordance with the center's/program requirements.
  • Evaluates and documents employee performance in accordance with the Center's requirement.

What qualifications you will need:

Education :
  • High School Diploma or General Education diploma.

Experience:
  • Must have {2) years related experience and be able to transport consumers in Agency or personal vehicle.

Other Key Qualifications
  • Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's License and be insurable under Agency policy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to interact effectively within administrative personnel.
  • Must able to assist with scheduling, interviewing and training new personnel.
  • Must have socialization and problem solving skills to effectively work through day to day problems.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills with staff and consumers.
  • Must possess administrative leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of state agency's guidelines and standards
