Delta-T's client is seeking Degreed Substance Abuse Counselors to assist in the recovery of children, adults and families from substance abuse by performing diagnosis and conduct assessments and/or screenings. Responsible for assessing and following up on care of clients. To assist with clinical evaluation, treatment planning, referral, service coordination, counseling, client, family and community education and documentation. Provide individualized and group counseling. Recruit and maintain a client base of 25 to 30 clients at a time as well as maintain a network of experts to provide services to consumers.
CLIENT'S COMPENSATION AND AVAILABLE HOURS
* $24-30+/Hr. compensation depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* 9am-5pm with 1/2 hr. break - 37.5 hours per week. Steady Schedule.
* Potential for temp to hire.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in counselling, psychology, or related field
* CADC certificate a plus.
* Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
* PA State Criminal Background, FBI fingerprinting-Dept. Human Services, Child Abuse Clearance
* Valid Physical/TB screening (within a year)
* Must be able to pass a Drug Screen
* Must be very organized with paperwork and reports.
* Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
MUST BE RELIABLE & DEPENDABLE WITH BOTH THE CARE YOU PROVIDE AS WELL AS ATTENDANCE.
