Deli Worker, Full-time (Saint Anselm College)

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Deli Prep, Full-time in a fun, fast paced environment. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve sandwiches and food from the deli station
• Read food orders or receive verbal instructions for food requested by customers; prepare and cook food according to instructions
• Ensure proper portioning and distribution of food items for daily service
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion

Job Requirements:

• High volume food preparation and cooking experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional food presentations skills
• Physically able to perform duties which contain repetitive motions such as stirring, slicing, bending, and lifting
