As a Securitization Analyst at Deloitte, you'll be part of a core team that delivers a wide range of services to our clients with a comprehensive industry-focused approach. Additionally, you'll be involved in helping advise investment banks, primary broker dealers, attorneys and various asset originators on performing complex procedures on transactions throughout their lifecycle. Work you'll do
As an Analyst in our Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory's Securitization practice, you will perform agreed upon procedures related to the full lifecycle of a structured product transaction of certain Mortgaged-Backed Assets (MBS), Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO). Our clients include primary broker dealers and originators in the fixed income industry.

Work you'll do
As an Analyst in our Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory's Securitization practice, you will perform agreed upon procedures related to the full lifecycle of a structured product transaction of certain Mortgaged-Backed Assets (MBS), Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO). Our clients include primary broker dealers and originators in the fixed income industry.
Specific areas of work could include:
- Perform loan file review and analytics of the underlying assets in a securitization transaction
- Review transaction offering documents
- Perform post-closing compliance testing
- Interface with clients, attorneys and other professionals within the organization and the fixed industry
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/ responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills in support of both innovative and operational enhancement opportunities
- Ability to collaborate and communicate across Deloitte team members and client stakeholders
- Ability to identify, learn, understand, and implement new concepts, frameworks and emerging technologies
- Ability to manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience
- A strong understanding of Windows Based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Required:
- Bachelors or Master's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or Quantitative Finance
- Strong academic track record with extracurricular activities (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Our current work environment is a hybrid approach, which means:
- You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required
- You can expect to be co-located 30-50% with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
- Exposure to computer programming languages such as VBA and Python, and industry system platforms such as Bloombert, Intex or TREPP
- Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
- Demonstrated recent leadership, such as in a campus club, society, sports teams or other activity
- Demonstrated recent social impact or volunteer activity
