• About This Opportunity
This position will be based in Irving, TX
JOB SUMMARY:
The Demand Chain Transformation Manger, Ohio will collaborate across various functions within the organization and engage with a third-party logistics (3PL) partners to execute the long-term Value Chain strategy for the Midwest (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania). This role with be responsible for leading the project to ensure on-time facility delivery to increase our food offering and facilitate a seamless transition of the facility operation to the core Demand Chain team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Value Chain Strategy Translation - Collaborate cross-functionally to translate the long-term Demand Chain strategy into actionable plans for a new facility in Ohio to enhance, and simplify, support for our stores.
• Facility Ownership - Own all aspects of new facility development, including Design, Implementation, Build Outs, and Startups.
• Third Party Logistics (3PL) Collaboration - Select operators and work closely with third-party logistics companies to ensure seamless execution of new facilities.
• Key Performance Indicators Management - Define and track site-specific KPIs to measure the success and efficiency of the newly established facilities.
• Facility Transition - Facilitate a smooth transition of facilities to the core Logistics team after achieving predetermined KPIs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree / Preferred Not required
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Strategic Thinking - Ability to align network/facility development plans with the overall Demand Chain strategy.
• Results-driven - Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve site-specific KPIs.
• Project Management - Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple facets of facility development simultaneously.
• Communication - Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
