Read more about us at: venicefamilyclinic.org Come join our Venice Family Clinic team as a Dental Assistant Supervisor. Under the guidance and general supervision of the Senior Dentist, you will help supervise the Registered Dental Assistants (RDA's) and Dental Assistants (DA's), and will perform dental assisting for our Venice Family Clinic's dental program. This role will also support the Virtual Dental Home (VDH) Program, which uses teledentistry to provide comprehensive, dental care. Duties include: * Assigning clinical and operational tasks to RDA and DA staff, monitoring performance, providing training, and staff scheduling. * Maintaining records of inventory, items ordered, and equipment repairs. * Managing patient follow up visits, and performing patient care coordination and clerical duties as needed. * Travel to various clinic sites or other VFC approved location as needed. * Test equipment regularly to determine if it is functioning properly and Disinfect operatories * Take and develop radiographs as prescribed by the dentist * Perform all California Dental Board approved duties of Registered Dental Assistant including applying sealants * Assist dentist and dental hygienist with chair side supportive procedures.
