In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.

The Deployment Manager 2 shall be responsible for the deployment efforts in several areas, including, schedule estimation and tracking, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. The Deployment Manager will also direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents

  • Review risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate resources for the same.
  • Manage the activities of the Deployment team.
  • Provide analysis of deployment objectives and draft plans to meet objectives.
  • Mitigate project risks and issues that occur.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff.
  • Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and equipment) to multiple simultaneous requirements.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to project team members; set the appropriate goals and objectives.
  • Work with the higher level Deployment Manager, if applicable, to provide effective and efficient management of the deployment.
  • Prepare and complete action plans to be presented to the Government.
  • Document system and deployment process improvements.
  • Develop multi-project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedules to deconflict allocation of resources.
  • Provide detailed tracking of requirements satisfaction for reporting to Government customers.

Clearance Required:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics Education or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. A Master's degree in a related technical field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.

Minimum Years of Experience:
  • Seven (7) years of experience managing deployment projects of similar scope, type, and complexity with the Federal Government. Four (4) years of demonstrated experience in managing deployment projects may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree for a total of eleven (11) years.
