Project Summary
Provide desktop support for work group with 100 computers
- Top 3 Daily Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure internal desktop systems software and hardware.
Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues in a heterogenous environment.
Creates and implements maintenance procedures for shared workstation software and hardware (operating system, anti-virus, software update, etc)
- Additional Responsibilities
Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment.
Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.
May participate in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects.
Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve.
- Requirements (required skills, experience, qualifications)
Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Patient and friendly demeanor.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Nice to Have (preferred skills, experience, qualifications)
Experience working in a help desk or technical support role.
Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of technical issues.
Ability to work independently.
Pay Rate Range: 25.00 - 29.20/hr
