Job Title: SAP BOBJ Developer

Location: 4515 Painters Mill Rd Owings Mills, MD 21117 - need to be onsite once a week

Summary:

• Candidate will be an experienced Business Objects Developer using SAP BO XIR2/XIR3, Desktop Intelligence Application. In this role the candidate will provide production and project support for the Investment Teams by creating new or modifying existing Business Objects Reports, non -objects based developed reports, using accounting system data. This is a hybrid role where candidate would be expected to work onsite in Owings Mills, MD each Wednesday.

Overview:

• This role is for Business Objects Developer using SAP BO XIR2/XIR3, Desktop Intelligence Application. In this role the candidate will provide production and project support for the Investment Teams by creating new or modifying existing. The candidate will review and interpret system requirements and business processes as well as code, test, debug and implement software solutions.

Candidate will also:

• Automate tasks (unit, smoke and end-to-end testing)
  
• Develop in Business Objects using SQL (sproc) and/ or PERL
  
• Work directly with Business Analyst
  
• Be accountable for your work and sometimes others, provide process and standards advice in your area of specialization
  
• Work independently
  
• Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  
• Actively helping team members/make suggestions to improve practices.
  
• Able to work directly with business analysts
  
• Decisions show a focus on current and future business priorities, together with fiscal responsibility
  
• Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions
  

Requirements

• Programs proficiently in several languages and is comfortable switching between them (highly proficient in either SQL or Sproc), Sybase, Unix
  Some knowledge of PERL, Autosys, DB2
• Shows dedication to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development
• Debugs large components with limited assistance and assists other engineers
