Job Description

We are seeking a Java Database Developer - Level III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database-driven Java applications, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. This role involves collaboration across teams, with a focus on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Required skills:

• 8 years of Hands-on Strong experience in Java development, including extensive experience with J2EE, Servlet and related technologies.
• 8 years of Hands-on Strong experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• 8 years of Hands-on Strong development experience in implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Java security authentication and authorization of service and user accounts
• 8 years of Hands-on Proficient in using Servlets, Spring and Spring Batch for web application development.
• 8 years of Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Maven & Jenkins.
• 8 years of Hands-on Experience in Full Stack Development and working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and JSF and Prime Faces 7.0.
• 8 years of Hands-on Experience in design and development of XSD and schematron data validation rules
• 8 years of Hands-on Experience in at least one application server configurations (WildFly, Tomcat or WebLogic)
• 8 years Expert level understanding of Mongo DB and Postgres databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, aggregate operations and performance tuning.
• 8 years of Experience in designing & optimizing database queries and procedures in Postgres and Mongo DB
• 8 years of Experience in ad hoc data analysis and reporting.

Preferred skills:

• 8 years of Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 8 years of Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• 2 years of Familiarity with Azure App Services & Cloud Services.

B) The primary work location will be 501 W 51st, Austin, Texas 78751.

Position will be remote. Program will allow candidates who are located within the United States.
