8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Annual Giving Assistant will support the Annual Giving team in soliciting alumni, students, parents, and friends to enhance philanthropic support. This position is responsible for managing solicitation and stewardship text campaigns, supporting the review of annual fund data, overseeing undergraduate and graduate class gift campaigns, assisting with crowdfunding campaigns, and leading student components of giving days such as #NinerNationGives and Giving Tuesday. The role also involves creating campaign communications, conducting post-campaign analysis, and partnering with the Alumni Engagement team on student engagement initiatives.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Essential Job Duties
  • Design and executing strategies to effectively solicit and steward Annual Fund donors through text messaging.
  • Assist the annual giving team with donor centric relationship building.
  • Manage and grow the class giving program.
  • Lead student programming during the University's giving day, #NinerNationGives, as well as other micro-campaigns such as Giving Tuesday.
  • Lead crowdfunding campaigns alongside other members of the Annual Giving team.
Other Work Responsibilities Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
  • Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Awareness of higher-education fundraising, with a preference for annual giving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with all degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
