• Researches, designs, and develops computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Updates software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship required) will be able to start with an Interim-Secret once obtained.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a DevOps environment.
• Experience in CI/CD (Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration), cloud computing, developing, deploying and maintaining applications in a cloud hosted environment or pipeline such as OpenShift and/or Jenkins.
• Experience developing containerized applications, implementing microservices, and utilizing containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (also known as K8s).
• A.S. or B.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology Information Technology or related computer/IT degree. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Desired Qualifications:

• Industry certification in DevOps or Cloud Computing preferred.
