Description
As an experienced DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for automating end-to-end DevOps practice for mission-critical applications developed using the Java spring framework. You will be collaborating with the engineering, product, and support team to understand automation requirements and be accountable for delivering end-to-end automation to deploy applications in AKS.
You will also be responsible for deploying databases, creating observability dashboards, setting up alerts, and continuously improving DevOps practice.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with mobile app developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate DevOps practices seamlessly into the mobile app development lifecycle.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure components, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments, enabling efficient and rapid delivery of new features and updates to end-users.
System monitoring and troubleshooting: Establish robust monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues, ensuring the mobile app's optimal performance, and participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities.
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and systems engineering, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures, facilitating knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
Requirement
8 to 10 years of software engineering and DevOps experience.
Jenkins Git
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, integration, testing, deployment workflows, automation, process development, and process changes.
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, PowerShell, kubelets, Jenkins Core, Git flow, and Artifactory.
Cloud AWS Kubernetes Services with container-based deployment skills.
Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project.
Key technical skills
