Schedule: Full Time

Shift : 2PM-10:30PM; Friday and Saturday with three other days which may vary depending on need

The role you'll contribute:

The Diagnostic Repair Technician troubleshoots, repairs and installs laundry equipment and components keeping the laundry operating at full capacity. Diagnoses and repairs multiple interconnected systems and components including mechanical, electronic, programmable logic controllers (PLC programming), electric motor inverter drives, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam and hot oil systems. Utilizes a variety of test equipment for troubleshooting of equipment and systems to the component level. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you'll bring to the team:
  • Utilizes knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and pneumatic and steam systems, and how they are applied in laundry operations.
  • Utilizes all available resources to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment. Verifies completed tasks by testing complete functionality of equipment after repair is completed.
  • Inspects equipment for possible failure of parts and reports it immediately.
  • Follows all regulatory guidelines and safety procedures related to the tasks assigned.
  • Uses proper electrical installation and repair techniques in a workman like manner with panels, conduits, flex, cut in boxes, devices and components.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
  • 4 years of experience working with electronic controls, PLC's, inverters, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED :
  • 2 years' experience as an Engineer in a high volume laundry
  • 2 years' experience on thermal oil operated ironers
  • Welding experience
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 environment
  • 2 years of experience on steam operated equipment


LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED :
  • Electrical or electronics certificate a plus Electrical or electronics certificate a plus
