Vector Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic, 1st shift to join our team in the Aurora, NC area. If you have at least five years of proven Diesel Mechanic experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL "A or B" is a real plus!

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Diesel Mechanic should have a minimum of five years hands-on experience
  • Must have the ability to diagnose and repair diesel powered heavy/medium duty trucks and/or equipment
  • Experience with on and off-road equipment such as, trailers, generators, motor graders, back-hoes, loaders, etc. is highly desirable
  • Experience in medium or heavy diesel preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, AC, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems
  • Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use
  • Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
  • Diesel Mechanic with OEM training and/or ASE certifications are preferred
