Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an ambitious and innovative Digital Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing our region's overall content strategy. The Digital Content Specialist will oversee the delivery of engaging and original content that meets the needs of our audience while promoting our brand values. You will have the ability to shape our brand identity and voice through a strategic and creative approach to digital content. Your excellent communication and leadership skills, together with your deep understanding of web analytics, social media trends, and SEO strategies, will be instrumental in achieving our business goals and objectives. A passion for digital content across various platforms and a knack for storytelling is vital for this role.

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting the content strategy for healthcare-specific audiences, aligning with the organization's goals and messaging.
2. Creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
3. Managing and maintaining the region's content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content.
4. Conducting research on healthcare industry trends, topics, and keywords to produce relevant and valuable content.
5. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
6. Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and reach on digital platforms.

7. Monitoring and analyzing content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, to make data-driven decisions.
8. Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
9. Developing and implementing content distribution strategies to reach target audiences effectively.
10. Staying updated on healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices to ensure content meets legal and ethical requirements.

11. Management and maintenance of data on all digital marketing platforms.
12. Vendor relationship management.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications plans.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:
  • Proven experience as a content manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, content development and personalization, social media and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare, marketing and communications trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiences.
