The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining content for our ecommerce websites and promotional emails. This includes creating, editing and arranging text and graphics with a high degree of creativity, technical expertise and accuracy to maximize visual communications. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual design, project management and the ability to manage digital marketing and web content and understand website metrics and best practices.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop promotional strategies for our ecommerce website and email that align with our business goals by working closely with vertical leaders to plan out campaigns and deliverables.
  • Build and manage ecommerce cart promotions within a secure CMS interface to increase short-term sales and execute creative ecommerce solutions.
  • Create, manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, SEO/SEM, social media, and display advertising.
  • Optimize search functionality on our e-commerce websites through keyword analysis and tracking.
  • Leverage data analysis to derive actionable insights, measure performance, and optimize strategies for better results.
  • Assist with promotional emails using company email software according to vertical marketing plans.
  • Create email campaign automations to target audiences based on behavior, preferences and previous sales to meet the needs of sales management.
  • Support the implementation of a new CMS solution.


What we need from you?

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated history and documented success with website production, especially CMS platforms and extensions including e-commerce cart promotions and email automation software.
  • B2B experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and analytics.
  • Demonstrated history of reporting on campaign effectiveness and suggesting improvements that resulted in specific recommendations and delivered a track record of success.
  • Able to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new website and promotional strategies.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience with digital marketing and email automation software.
  • Knowledge of website management and ecommerce cart promotion technologies and tactics, and email marketing automations.
  • Working knowledge of web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Good understanding of content management systems.
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
