Position Statement:

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for creating best in class digital experiences, supporting digital marketing efforts by running end-to-end user experience testing on emails, landing pages, webpages, social media and more. The Analyst will support growth of the team and organization through implementing technical solutions using the most relevant Quality Assurance tools/techniques, insistently optimizing, and bringing efficiency to team processes. This role will combine quality assurance measures, automation, testing and analysis to ensure effective control measures are taken pre and post deployment with a goal of successful error-free campaign launches.

Position Summary:

· Analyze user story acceptance criteria to ensure testing needs and write test cases to execute on

· Support the discovery, prioritization and execution of bug fixes and enhancements

· Proven proficiency in digital marketing testing, mobile responsive designs, websites, and other applications

· Track, document defects, and communicate them to technical developers

· Collaborate with teams and implement the most relevant QA tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements

· Use effective communication skills and Interpersonal skills

· Review creative assets like mocks copy and links for accuracy

· Maintain email marketing calendar to ensure accuracy and timely delivery

· Experienced in functional testing, visual testing, dynamic email campaign testing, A/B testing

· Perform Regression testing to verify modifications made in the application during sprint release have not caused unintended adverse effects

Required Experience:

· At least 3 years of experience in manual Email Testing (a plus for experience in automated testing)

· Prior experience with Automation Tools is a plus (Selenium, GitHub, QTP, QC, Cucumber, Junit, Maven, BDD or similar)

· Familiar with testing tools such as Litmus, Email on Acid or similar

· Proactive approach to resolution and defect management and mitigation

· Involved in Various testing methods like Functional testing, Regression testing, GUI Testing, Agile and Adhoc Testing

· Deep understanding of user/customer journey and process mapping

· Ability to work independently in fast paced and evolving environment

· Self-sufficient and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

· In-depth Knowledge of the Business process development using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing using the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

· Communicate with Cross functional team to understand the functionality and the programs

· Basic understanding of digital media and marketing campaigns (understanding of HTML a plus)

· Deep understanding of email, website, and landing testing best practices with a direct marketing focus

· Solutions oriented with collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving

· Stays current with industry best practices bringing ideas and solutions to the team

Preferred Experience

· Hands on experience on any automation tools (preferably Selenium)

· Experience using project management tools such as - Workfront, JIRA, Azure DevOps, AirTable

· Familiarity with any programming script languages including Java, CSS and VBScript

Education / Certifications : Bachelor's Degree and/or applicable certifications
