gUP builds innovative solutions that take user experience and engagement with Google to the next level, supporting users across products, countries, cultures, incomes, and identities. We advocate for users through partnerships with product areas at Google (and some Alphabet businesses), supporting Google's consumer products ecosystem and enabling numerous launches for Google's consumer products each year.
The Digitization Operations team supports innovative products like Google's Book Search project, and other scanning initiatives for Cultural Institute, YouTube, and Google Brain. The team plans, sets up, and manages industrial-scale facilities dedicated to scanning books, and also develops and manages high-volume processes for moving scan centers or to partners. As a Digitization Operations Manager, you will work on emerging projects that increase the scope of work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in operations, process improvement, and analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in an operations environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills with production systems.

Responsibilities
- Manage operations of workforces in scan centers and deployment partners.
- Work on a new and undefined emerging projects that increase the scope of digitization offerings.
- Identify, prioritize, and drive process improvement activities and cost reductions.
- Develop and support processes, systems, tools and and standard operating procedures for operations.
- Interface with internal and external partners as the main point of contact for multiple workflows.
