In collaboration with the department leaders and under the direction of the Vice President, is responsible and accountable as a member of the integrated delivery team of Perioperative Services at Temple University Hospital - Main Campus, Temple University Hospital - Jeanes Campus, and Fox Chase Cancer Center to assure achievement of organizational goals related to the business functions of the clinical departments and service-line(s). Direct oversight of the supply chain, inventory management, capital asset management and planning, clinical value analysis and related product evaluation and clinical technology evaluations. To ensure continuity between the clinical and business practices of the service-line(s), the director of business operations will also, analyze and report clinical consumption data, oversee billing and clinical documentation practices that impact revenue, and manage variances related to volume, utilization, etc. Collaborates with TUHS decision support, finance, and key account representatives to ensure the overall sustainability of each service-line(s).

Education
Bachelors Degree: Business, Healthcare or related field (Required)
Masters Degree : Business or Healthcare related field (Required)

Experience
3 Years experience in healthcare finance (Required)
5 Years experience in a management role in Perioperative or similar services in an academic setting (Required)
