Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field.
The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse.
Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living.
These shifts are either: 630a-7p or 630p-7am with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Our mission is to provide high-quality behavioral health services in an environment that values service excellence, respect, and ethical standards, integrity, compassion, and teamwork.

- Completes patient observation rounds timely, and accurately
- Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Qualifications
Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Drivers License with safe driving record
