The role you'll contribute:

To provide leadership and accountability in the strategic and daily operations of the clinical service. Developing and maintains excellent physician and associate relations, accountable for the quality of patient care provided by the nursing service. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all functions of the service to include quality, administrative, and financial outcomes. Oversees the delivery of patient care and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service and the nursing professional practice as a whole. Assure achievement of department, nursing division and hospital goals as well as adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory agencies. May provide leadership over other departments that collaborate with nursing for care of the patients served.

• • Plans and implements established departmental and service policies and procedures which compliment nursing division and hospital policies and procedures.

• • Establishes and maintains satisfactory customer and public relations through direct or delegated contact.

• Develops and maintains a "service excellence" environment and achieves "completely satisfied" customer satisfaction scores.

• • Maintains an ongoing analysis of clinical service performance and monitors trends and opportunities.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

• Two to five years' position-related leadership experience

• Registered Nurse License or Compact Multi State RN License
