This role will provide operational coordination across all of the collaborative entities, including UB's faculty and research administration, the Economic Development Organizations (EDOs), the Manufacturing Extension Partnership organizations (MEPs), industry partners, and public sector entities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of an overall strategy for the center by closely working with the faculty director and the Dean's Office.
  • Manage engagement for the SCAN project to ensure that all deliverables are achieved.
  • Oversee outreach efforts, identify and cultivate relationships with stakeholders in alignment with the mission of the center, research activities, experiential learning and industry engagement opportunities.
  • Organize events and conferences to connect thought leaders, industry experts, and students around emerging trends in supply chain analytics.
  • Ensure the fiscal and operational soundness of the center, managing all aspects of the operations, including planning, budgeting, and staff oversight.
  • Engage the school's faculty, students and other stakeholders in the activities of the center.
  • Working with the school's marketing and communications staff, promote the center through integrated strategies including public and media relations, as well as website and social media management.
