Title: Director, Commerce & Growth

Location: Pro Shop has or will have offices in Los Angeles, California; Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; and New York City, New York. The Director, Commerce & Growth will be ideally based in New York City, New York.

Position Overview:
As the Director of Commerce & Growth, you will oversee the Commerce team and be responsible for driving revenue growth. You will integrate new brand acquisitions and drive growth through digital, social, and influencer marketing strategies. Additionally, you will help build and develop Pro Shop's own commerce brands which may include affiliate and drop shipping business models. This role requires deep experience in digital and growth marketing, including both acquisition and retention strategies, as well as knowledge of ecommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth:

• Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to drive revenue across all commerce channels.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to align growth initiatives with company goals and objectives.
• Implement best-in-class ecommerce strategies and technology to optimize acquisition and increase customer retention.
• Partner with internal and external resources to build out performance dashboards.

Digital & Growth Marketing:

• Develop and implement digital marketing efforts, including paid search, SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising.
• Develop and implement growth marketing strategies focused on customer acquisition and retention.
• Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and drive ROI.
• Oversee and optimize Influencer marketing programs that will support the growth of Commerce brands as well as media properties and in-person events.
• Oversee product seeding program for commerce brands that can also support media properties and in-person events.

Brand Development & Integration:

• Integrate new brand acquisitions into the Pro Shop commerce ecosystem
• Work with Brand and Internal/external resources to build best-in-class ecommerce stores, continually optimizing for success.
• When applicable, work with Pro Shop leadership team to Identify and analyze new business opportunities to expand our brand portfolio.
• Work with internal and external resources to integrate new technologies to support the success of the commerce portfolio.
• Develop and implement commerce strategies for Pro Shop's owned commerce brands including, but not limited to, ecommerce, affiliate, drop shipping and retail.
• Consult with product development & merchandising teams for new product launches.

Alternative Commerce Initiatives:

• Partner with internal team members to manage and grow affiliate sales channels
• Execute drop shipping commerce executions and support in developing direct deals relationships.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize affiliate and drop shipping programs to maximize revenue.
• Proactively look for new partners or programs to implement for future commerce growth.

Retail Commerce Support:

• Strategize and help launch future retail executions across all Pro Shop brands.
• Support in the development of Green Grass Account strategy for select brands.
• With support of partners, bring 'Pop-up' and Event retail activations to life.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Multiple years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, and e-commerce or strong recent experience & success in high growth commerce brands.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and scaling brands through digital and social marketing strategies in high-growth businesses.
• Experience with affiliate sales and direct deals for drop shipping.
• Experience executing Influencer marketing campaigns.
• Deep experience with ecommerce platforms and especially, Shopify.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.
