The role you'll contribute:

Provides leadership in the strategic and daily operations of critical care services. Responsible for developing and maintaining physician relations, empowering clinical care givers through solicitation of input and implementation of actions to improve delivery of patient care. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the functions of the clinical service. Supervises the delivery of patient care and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service and contributing to the nursing division as a whole.

  • Directs the development of strategic and operational programs for the service area. Plans and implements established departmental and service policies and procedures which compliment nursing division and hospital policies and procedures.

  • Provides a climate, which fosters professional development.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • 2 years of management experience in Acute Care hospital setting, or evidence of equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Colorado RN License
