The Google Cloud, US Public Sector Security sales leader is a critical leadership role responsible for promoting and selling our cybersecurity products and services that include SecOps, Google Threat Intelligence, and Mandiant Consulting. In this role, you will be expected to partner with very senior level executives across different U.S. public sector customers and partners to sell and deliver solutions that allow them to deliver against modern challenges and mission outcomes.
Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information and have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $198,000-$285,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in general management with a focus in Cloud technology sales and Cybersecurity
- 10 years of people management experience
- Experience selling products or solutions to public sector customers
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Partners and leveraging a partner centric go-to-market approach for leverage and scale
- Experience in Federal, State and Local, and Higher Education (SLED) businesses
- Technical depth and explicit experience in cloud computing
- Knowledge of government contracting and procurement in the Public Sector
- US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance

Responsibilities
- Communicate and engage with Product Management, Customer Customer Success, Professional Services, Customer Engineering, Partner Management, Industry Solutions teams, and other stakeholders to align product and services direction with go-to-market strategy.
- Continue to inject operational accuracy into the organization with the goal of improving processes and scaling growth.
- Perform consistent pipeline development that maintains or exceeds necessary coverage ratios.
- Recruit talent and coach the team with a focus on providing actionable, forthright feedback. The intent is to produce the next generation of leadership for Google Cloud and build a team that embodies customer empathy.
- Develop and execute a cloud security sales strategy.
