The Director, eCommerce , is a key position on the Marketing Leadership Team at IDT. She/He will be working closely with the VP of Marketing to champion and improve our digital customer experience on the website. We need an experienced and creative leader with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be excited to improve processes and be growth oriented, with an interest in building out a differentiated go to market strategy and ecommerce experience. This position is part of the Marketing Organization located in the US and will be fully remote. At IDT, we are one global team. This is a highly cross functional role requiring both strategic and tactical execution, strong program management, and ability to lead a team. This leader will work closely with IT, product marketing, the business units, and technical stakeholders and should have exceptional problem-solving skills. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
  • Shape IDT's vision of Best-in-Class eCommerce customer experience, leveraging external benchmarks & research. Establish a business-driven Digital Product Vision & Strategy meeting strategic business objectives
  • Set direction and make decisions related to IDTs eCommerce Digital activity & associated Product Lines
  • Translate strategy into Strategic Programs & Roadmaps; prioritize across all demands & allocate resources frugally (build & run).Communicate on strategic objectives & value delivery to build enterprise awareness
  • Assess market demands with Digital Market leads & test potential new offers, epics & features. Define & track robust Impact OKRs/ KPIs, using feedback to drive product enhancements.
  • Work with Cybersecurity and compliance team to ensure adherence to global legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Essential requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, science, or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 10 + years of professional marketing experience coupled with 3 + years managing a marketing team.
  • Current experience in life sciences ecommerce marketing to include creating web based " shopping " experience for B2B customers. Will be responsible for creating the vision and strategy for impactful and creative web based buying experience.
  • Must be comfortable in working in a global matrix environment to include partnering with IT and marketing partners to create front end and back end user experience.
  • Strong understanding of eBusiness best practices and eCommerce customer buying journey

Additional Requirements:
  • Proven project management skills required along with the ability to directly or indirectly lead teams and prioritize heavy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills, ability to identify source and impact of problem as it relates to other functions, impact on stakeholders, and recommend solution
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus. West coast US preferred

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $170,000-$210,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
