The position of Director, Environment Engineerinng - Air will manage and contribute technically to challenging air quality permitting and projects and will work with multi-disciplinary teams, and will collaborate with Developments, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will direct strategic air permit programs for multiple LNG facilities (and associated pipelines) with complex technical/regulatory issues. Work closely, develop strong relationships to understand specific processes, and develop a permitting strategy to maintain maximum operating flexibility.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on air quality permitting programs, including regulatory analysis of facility design, construction, commissioning, and operations; major and minor source air permit applications under Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), Title V, and state-level regulations; and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Resource Report 9.
Advise on the development of air emissions, including the development of pre-feasibility assessments, calculating GHG inventories, and identifying opportunities for emissions reduction or energy efficiency measures.
Support staff and contractors in the planning and execution of air quality permitting programs and in directing or conducting independent technical reviews of deliverable work products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental) or related degree or commensurate experience in a management role.
Knowledge and competency in air quality regulations, permitting, reporting, and compliance.
10+ years of relevant experience in air quality permitting in industrial construction or operation of gas processing plants.
Demonstrated technical and analytical skills with proven experience in large air quality/regulatory compliance projects or facilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work within a team with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
