Aspirus is seeking a Director of Finance located at our Aspirus Wausau Hospital!

Description: The Director of Finance - AWH directs and coordinates accounting and financial matters for Aspirus Wausau Hospital (AWH) and contributes to larger system finance initiatives as part of the fiscal services team. Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting for AWH. Assists administration in reviewing policies and financial activities to ensure compliance with the mission of Wausau Hospital and Aspirus, Inc. Serves as a member of AWH leadership cabinet and participates in committees as assigned. In addition to AWH duties, responsible for one or more corporate fiscal functions as assigned.

Hours: 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours biweekly, M-F 8-5, occasional evenings.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of accounting standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related area.
• A Master's Degree in accounting, finance or related area and/or CPA status or FHFMA certification beneficial.
• Minimum of five to seven years of health care financial management experience.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
