Infineon Technologies Americas Corporation is seeking a Director Finance, Product Line ICW (San Jose, CA) to direct and manage all financial aspects of the WiFi and IMS product lines. Be the finance business partner to the Product Line management and act as a key member of the PL Management team. Manage, plan, lead and organize the forecasting activities for the product line including the financial Bluebook, FRFC and Outlook for Revenue, TCM, Gross Margin (incl. inventory effects) and OPEX. Develop the PL strategy together with the PL management team. Provide financial leadership & guidance to the PL. Evaluate business proposals and make recommendations for optimizing the financial impact of business initiatives. Provide analysis, scenarios and risk assessment for the PL. Involvement in VPA and pricing process. Engage with product owners to identify areas to expand profits through pricing to value and value selling. Engage with product management in order to optimize PL profitability by managing the product mix. Drive Financial strategic portfolio analysis as part of the strategy process. R&D Project controlling / Investment Decisions. Manage the financial consolidation and analysis for new product proposals/R&D projects for the PL. Indirect management of the cross functional teams required to generate comprehensive financial plan, revenue planning, costs/design-to-cost and R&D expenses. Challenge the PL on financially critical investment decisions and ensure overall DIV/BL-KPIs are appropriately considered. Ensure adherence to the DIV/BL governance and guidelines for the business cases on R&D projects. Provide rationale and recommendations to BL Finance Head on new product investments. Highlight potential outcomes, challenges and opportunities and alternatives to primary investment decisions. Perform IFRS capitalization + impairment testing together with R&D Controller. Ensure consistency of target costs with PL activities in Actual & Plan and ensure that productivity measures/ improvements are reflected in the target costs. Engage with Production management in order to drive product specific cost improvements. Provide target cost readouts to PL management. Serve as project manager for tracking financial synergies, working thoroughly with the IFX corporate team in Munich, Germany to establish targets, process, reporting and reconciliation processes. Direct and train legacy Cypress financial staff on the cross-functional cost charging models required for proper accounting and statutory fillings across legal entities. 20% domestic and 5% international travel required. Local telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.

Your Profile:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree or a related field and 2 years of experience in Product Line Financial Support. Must have experience in: process integration; product portfolio optimization through financial analysis; working in the Semi-Conductor market in a finance controlling related capacity; business partnering with product management in the development of new product plans; analysis and support of new product price setting and analysis; developing 5-year strategic plans; process integration; Financial and accounting in semiconductor industry; Hyperion Financial Planning; working locally in financial organizations in Germany and the United States; Oracle & SAP financial systems; IFRS and US GAAP Accounting; IFRS capitalization + impairment testing; Process Integration support, directly integrating acquired company financial process and tools; Directly managing a profitability improvement initiative for a product line to improve product line financials through pricing, product mix and cost reduction actions; Management of R&D investment decisions through the consolidation of product level business case financials for new product proposals/R&D projects for the PL; and Direct financial business partner support for the head of a product line of 250M€ + revenue annually. 20% domestic and 5% international travel required.

The role will pay between $189,000 and $207,900 /year for qualified candidate, the amount you are offered will be based on your qualifications and experience as they relate to the specific role you are performing.

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
